Thank God for A+ Heating and Electrical. After 18 months of struggling with a heat pump that could not heat our home in the winter and couldn’t cool it in the summer, we called A+ to have someone come out and evaluate the HVAC system.
Because of the inadequacy of the unit our builder installed, two-ton heat pump, we were always running on auxiliary heat and still not able to maintain a warm environment. The last straw was the warnings I was receiving on my phone about a potential fire risk to the heat strips due to overusage.
Giving up on any hope the builder would resolve the issue, I called A+ and, after several service calls to try to fix things for us, thank God we had accepted their offer to sign up for a service contract, we realized that Lionel, our service tech, was right a two-ton unit was not recommended for the size of our home.
Our builder installed an inadequate unit to meet the demands of our home. We decided to replace the entire system and had A+ do the installation. From the time and consideration that Lionel showed us, to the patience and education that Casey, Sales Dept, took to make sure we understood all the aspects of what a properly sized unit would mean to our comfort and budget. And finally, the installation, under the supervision of Humberto, was flawless and efficient.
Everyone of these employees is a true asset to their company. Well done, A+.

A Plus showed up when scheduled for a seasonal service. The service technician was genuinely interested in what I had to say about my heat pump. I watched the tech and a very nice Quality Assurance team member go through all the requirements for ensuring my system was operating efficiently and as expected. Both the air handler unit and the outdoor fan unit checked out good, and they topped off the refrigerant in the outdoor unit. Got a good feeling about the visit. The guys were genuine!

We had a new heat pump installed on 2-13-25 and were extremely happy with the 3 installers that did the work. James Morgan headed the team and was assisted by Javiet Morales and William Schnaars. All 3 were considerate, neat, and polite while working here. We were super impressed by James’ way with the helpers—he was teaching and instructing as he worked. Our only downside was the time—they were here 12 hours—mainly due to programming thermostats, and someone had to come the next day to finish with thermostats and a small glitch. I believe too long for the workers and us. Would much prefer 2 normal days.
