Not happy with the problems I'm having with the units. They're not that old. The Swift guys figured it out pretty quick, ordered the part, and returned the next day to complete the repair. I would rate the techs very good. Swift is a little pricey, but you can depend on them to fix the problem correctly.

I can't say enough about Oscar helping with my refrigerant leak at my condo. I had techs out 3 times and was on the verge of facing having to have a new copper line pulled 8 stories and running into nothing but obstacles with HOAs, etc. Oscar came out again with two other techs and found the leak up on the roof right away tucked under some other units' equipment. We have a service plan with A+ and wouldn't trade it in for the world. Having local experts, like Lee, that make same-day fixes possible, is outstanding customer service. Not only is he knowledgeable to fix it, but he kindly explains (without using jargon) some complex concepts in a way I can understand. Absolutely professional, Lee expertly discovered the root cause of the issue and got it running again. We all appreciate him fixing up our system! The following day, I called into customer support to change our primary contact number. I didn't have to spend much time in an IVR, and under 30 seconds, I was speaking to someone and my account was managed and reason for calling solved within minutes. Historically, we had an issue mid-summer at the peak of our tourist season, and our A/C was fixed with urgency. I highly recommend A+ between Ocean Isle & Sunset Beach!

Alex the manager really hooked me up. My warranty for the new AC unit I bought expired 6 months ago, and Alex listened to my frustration and took care of business. It’s about time a company is not all about the bottom line and cares for their customers. My prior unit had a leak that was constantly needing refill of refrigerant, so I decided to just get a brand new one through Swift 2 and a half years ago. The other day my new unit wasn’t cooling, so I called them to check it out, to hear the same thing—that I may have a leak. This is where my frustration came because in my eyes, how the hell could I have a leak just 2 and a half years later? Alex took care of me, sending out his best technician Chris, who came and found the hole in my copper pipe on the outside unit. Chris brazed out some silver/metal to fill the hole to plug my leak from the pipe. He was also very thorough, explaining to me that this could happen due to malfunctions when they installed and the pressure over time most likely caused it to finally crack. Chris not only communicated professionally but also took the time to help show me how to properly unclog my lines when they get filled up with gunk and deposits. He went into the attic with me and showed me where I need to plug and open the other plug to fill warm water before I go out and shop vac the lines (I have had issues with my lines getting clogged where instead of me calling for a service I could just do it myself I explained to him) so yea Chris is a legend, that’s who you need to request when you need service done—dude’s very knowledgeable. So basically Alex hooked me up with no charge for the service and the 7.5 pounds of refrigerant they helped me with. I know this would have been a couple thousand bucks between labor and all the coolant they provided. Really am appreciative for a business looking out for their customers. I mean, he could have said sorry, man, your warranty is up so you gotta pay for the labor and coolant, but he didn’t due to him really listening to me when I explained why I bought this unit—he actually cared and, in my opinion, he put himself in my shoes and probably made the call on how he would have wanted Swift Services to react if it was him. It was a pleasure to have two knowledgeable people check out an ongoing problem with my AC. I've had two other companies wrongfully diagnose a problem over the past couple of years. Jason was the only person who noticed incorrect wiring of shutoff switches and explained how that easily could have caused excess condensation. It's still early to tell, as this summer season hasn't begun yet. If the problem persists, I'll know in a couple of weeks. All I can say is that these guys were particularly thorough checking out EVERY possible cause of my problem. The other two companies didn't come close. I HIGHLY recommend Jason Potts and Anthony, who was with him. It pays to have servicemen who actually KNOW all aspects of their trade. I give them six out of five stars!!
