Super Tune Up is a thorough service of your HVAC system. A technician will first inspect the unit making sure there is no debris blocking the airflow. After that, each element of your unit will be carefully analyzed and cleaned. Our specialists then clean and wax the outside system, clean the ignition assembly, the heat exchanger, the blower components, and the evaporator and condenser coils and drains. Because of the close proximity to the ocean and moist air, we often see salt buildup inside a system. Salt buildup needs to be promptly removed since a combination of salt and water can easily corrode and deteriorate metal components.
After the cleaning process, technicians perform a series of tests to assess if the system is running at its peak efficiency. The unit’s thermostat will be checked and adjusted if necessary. The technicians also test system starting and running capacitors, controls, switches, motors and fans, as well as the system for proper airflow and air delivery. Then a technician will monitor the refrigerant pressures, measure temperature differences, and inspect and tighten all electrical connections.
